What It Does

The factory S13 radiator was sized for a naturally-aspirated KA24, not a turbocharged SR20DET pushing significantly more heat into the cooling system. As SR20DET swaps make more power and see harder use, the factory radiator becomes a real cooling bottleneck. This aluminum radiator handles the increased heat load on a built SR20DET while staying within a sensible budget.

Critical Fitment Note

This radiator is built for the S13 chassis with an SR20DET engine. The hose fitting positions are sized for SR20DET swap routing, which differs from the factory KA24 layout. For factory KA24DE S13 builds, use the KA24-specific S13 radiator (IS-240KA-RADS13).

Recommended Install Timing

The ideal time to install this radiator is during the SR20DET swap itself, while the front of the car is already apart. Adding it later after the swap is finished works, but means you're tearing the front back down for a cooling upgrade that's much easier to do up front.
