What It Does

Factory S-chassis subframe bushings are rubber, and they wear. Once they wear, your subframe shifts under load, and the energy that should be controlled by your dampers gets absorbed by the bushings flexing instead. The result is vague suspension feel, delayed turn-in response, and the kind of disconnected handling that makes the car feel old. Replacing them with solid anodized aluminum eliminates that movement entirely.
