ISR Performance Brake Line Kit - Nissan 370Z 09-10 (Akebono Brakes)

The ISR Performance Brake Line Kit for the 2009-2010 Nissan 370Z with Akebono brakes is the full stainless-braided replacement set for the factory rubber lines. PTFE core, stainless braid, the firmer-pedal upgrade that's mandatory on a track 370Z. Sport-spec Akebono caliper fitment, not for cars on standard 370Z brakes.

What It Does

Factory rubber brake lines expand under braking pressure, which softens pedal feel and reduces the precision you get from modern brake systems. Stainless braided lines eliminate that expansion entirely, giving you a noticeably firmer pedal with more consistent braking force, especially under track conditions where the rubber lines get hot. The kit covers all four corners of the car in a single purchase.

Fitment

2009-2010 Nissan 370Z with Akebono brakes only. Will NOT fit 370Z models with standard (non-Akebono) brakes. for those, see IS-NIS-1339. Caliper-side fittings are different between the two brake packages, so ordering the right kit matters.

Installation Notes

Brake line installation should be done by a professional mechanic. Key points:

• Do not mix rubber hoses and stainless steel lines on the same brake system
• Do not force, rotate, or stretch any stainless steel hose assembly during install. this can cause failure
• Tighten banjo bolts and fittings to the manufacturer's torque spec, or 12-14 ft-lbs if no spec is available
• Check that hoses are not kinked or twisted, and verify full clearance through suspension and steering travel
• Bleed the system with fresh DOT-approved brake fluid per the vehicle's spec
• Recheck all lines and connections for tightness and leaks after the first 100 miles
