Our one-piece aluminum driveshaft for the S13 240SX JZ swap running a CD009 6-speed transmission and an ABS-style differential. Aluminum construction keeps rotational mass low for the kind of response that matters most in low-mass swap builds.
What It Does
Replaces the factory 2-piece driveshaft with an ISR one-piece aluminum shaft. Eliminating the rubber carrier bearing in the middle gets rid of the vague feel under acceleration that's baked into the stock 2-piece design. Aluminum drops rotational mass compared to a steel shaft, which translates to quicker engine response. Built using Dana and Spicer solid high-performance u-joints for serious durability.
Fitment
Fits the Nissan 240SX S13 chassis with the following swap configuration:
- Toyota JZ engine (2JZ-GTE; 1JZ may also work, but verify ISR swap mount compatibility)
- Nissan CD009 6-speed transmission (the 350Z/G35 6-speed)
- Collins transmission adapter (required for the CD009-to-JZ swap)
- ABS-style differential
- ISR Performance swap mounts and swap components throughout
Critical: Driveshaft length is determined by your differential, not by whether your car came with ABS from the factory. Some S-chassis owners swap in non-ABS diffs (or vice versa); confirm which differential is actually in your car before ordering. This shaft is only guaranteed to fit when using ISR Performance swap components.
