The ISR Performance One-Piece Driveshaft is built for JZ swaps (1JZ or 2JZ) into the 1995-1998 Nissan 240SX (S14) when paired with the CD009 6-speed transmission, a Collins Performance JZ-to-CD009 adapter, and the ISR JZ swap kit. Built from aluminum with Dana/Spicer solid high-performance u-joints. This is the ABS-equipped differential version.

What It Does

The "JZ + CD009" combination is one of the most popular drivetrains in the modern S-Chassis world. Mating a Toyota JZ engine to a Nissan CD009 6-speed transmission requires a bellhousing adapter (Collins Performance is the standard), and that adapter, combined with the JZ block length and the CD009 tailshaft, puts the transmission output flange in a location that no off-the-shelf driveshaft fits. This driveshaft is built to that exact length using the ISR JZ swap mounts as the reference point.

Aluminum construction reduces rotating mass compared to a steel shaft, which translates to slightly quicker throttle response and lower driveline inertia. Common pick for built JZ swaps and serious track or drift builds where every bit of rotating weight savings matters.

Critical Fitment Requirements

This driveshaft is built for the specific JZ + Collins adapter + CD009 + ISR swap mount combination. If you're using a different bellhousing adapter, a different transmission, or non-ISR swap mounts, the length will not match.

Differential type matters. Driveshaft length is determined by your differential, not by whether your car originally came with ABS. Verify which differential is currently in the car (ABS vs non-ABS) and order accordingly. The wrong diff-side driveshaft will not bolt up.
