The ISR Performance One-Piece Driveshaft is built specifically for LS swaps into the Nissan 350Z (Z33) when paired with the F-body T56 6-speed transmission and the ISR LS swap kit. Built from aluminum with Dana/Spicer solid high-performance u-joints, it provides the correct length and flange pattern for this specific swap combination.
What It Does
LS-swapped 350Z builds using the F-body T56 transmission need a custom driveshaft because the swap repositions the transmission output flange relative to the factory diff location. This driveshaft is built to that exact length using the correct flange on the diff side, eliminating the need to source or modify a custom shaft separately.
Aluminum construction reduces rotating mass compared to a steel shaft, which translates to slightly quicker throttle response and lower driveline inertia. Common pick for built LS swaps and serious track or drift builds where every bit of rotating weight savings matters.
Critical Fitment Requirements
F-body T56 only. This driveshaft will NOT fit the T56 Magnum transmission. The T56 Magnum (an aftermarket Tremec unit) has different output flange geometry and a different overall length than the original F-body T56, so the shaft lengths and end fittings don't interchange. If you're running a T56 Magnum, contact ISR or a custom driveshaft shop for the correct part.
Only guaranteed with the complete ISR Performance LS swap kit. If you're using different swap mounts or a non-standard transmission mount configuration, fitment cannot be guaranteed.
