ISR Performance Driveshaft - S13 240SX KA/SR Non ABS - Steel

The ISR Performance One-Piece Driveshaft is a direct replacement for the factory two-piece driveshaft on the 1989-1994 Nissan 240SX with KA24DE or SR20DET, 5-speed manual transmission, and non-ABS rear differential. Built using Dana/Spicer solid high-performance u-joints, it eliminates the factory carrier bearing for a more direct, more responsive driveline. This is the steel version.

What It Does

The factory 240SX driveshaft is a two-piece design joined by a rubber-mounted center support (carrier) bearing. Under acceleration, the rubber carrier flexes and the driveshaft shifts, which absorbs some of the engine's input before it reaches the diff. Switching to a single-piece driveshaft eliminates that flex entirely, giving you a more direct power delivery and noticeably crisper throttle response. It's one of the most-felt drivetrain upgrades on the 240SX platform.

Steel construction offers maximum durability and a lower price point compared to the aluminum version. The common choice for daily-driven, street, or grassroots drift builds where ultimate weight savings aren't the priority.

Critical Fitment Note

Driveshaft length is determined by your differential, not by whether your car originally came with ABS. If you've swapped to a different rear differential (R200 from an ABS or non-ABS car, a Z32 diff, an R230, etc.), order based on the differential currently in the car. Measure or verify before ordering. The wrong driveshaft will not fit.
