What It Does

The factory rear muffler hanger bushing on the 350Z is a rubber donut that supports the rear muffler section of the exhaust. Over time, that rubber softens, sags, and eventually tears, which lets the muffler droop and contact the chassis or rear bumper. The ISR replacement uses a hardened rubber compound that holds shape under exhaust weight and heat, restoring proper exhaust positioning.
