Our short shifter for the NA Miata. Reduces shift throw by approximately 25%, keeping the lever closer to the wheel and shift response noticeably sharper than the factory shifter. A direct bolt-in install, the kind of thing every NA owner gets to eventually.
What It Does
Replaces the factory shifter to tighten up the throws and reduce hand travel between gears. The 25% throw reduction makes quick shifts noticeably faster and keeps the shifter sitting closer to the driver, which most owners prefer once they've had it. Designed to bolt directly to the factory shifter location with no machining or shifter mod required. You can reuse your stock shift knob or swap to an aftermarket knob on install.

Fits the NA Mazda MX-5 Miata, 1989 to 1997. Manual transmission only. Designed for the factory 5-speed gearbox.
