The ISR Performance Pro Series Rear Traction Rods are the top-tier adjustable rear traction rod set for the 1989-1998 Nissan 240SX (S13 and S14). After years of success with the original Street Series suspension arms, the Pro Series stepped up the construction with Japanese spherical rod bearings, larger rod ends, dust boots, thicker material, and added bracing. The same arms used on Patrick Goodin's 1000+hp Formula Drift S-Chassis.
What It Does
Traction rods control the longitudinal position of the rear hub and influence anti-squat behavior under acceleration. Adjustable traction rods let you fine-tune rear geometry on a lowered car, or correct the geometry shifts that happen when running aggressive coilover settings. Pro Series construction handles everything from spirited street driving to professional drift competition without flexing or wearing prematurely.
Pro Series Improvements Over Street Series
- Japanese spherical rod bearings (vs. lower-cost rod ends on the Street Series)
- Larger rod ends for higher load capacity
- Rod end dust boots to protect against contamination
- Thicker material throughout
- Added bracing for stiffness under load
Real-World Validation
Same arms used on Patrick Goodin's professional Formula Drift S-Chassis at 1000+ horsepower. If they hold up to a full season of pro-level drift competition, they'll handle anything a street or grassroots build can throw at them.
