ISR Performance Shorty Headers - Nissan VQ35HR VQ37VHR 350z 370z

The ISR Performance Shorty Headers for the VQ35HR and VQ37VHR are 304 brushed stainless headers with 1-3/4" primary tubes, built specifically for the HR-platform 350Z and the entire 370Z run. Designed to retain mid-range torque while improving top-end power, with factory O2 bung locations preserved and clearance designed around the USDM-specific driver-side coolant/oil cooler tube found on later VQ37 engines.

What It Does

Shorty headers replace the factory exhaust manifolds with shorter, larger-diameter primary tubes that flow better than the OEM cast manifold without going all the way to long-tube headers. Result: improved exhaust flow through the entire RPM range with much less of the mid-range loss long-tubes can introduce on the VQ. The 1-3/4" primaries are sized for the HR/VHR power band, and the heavy-duty flanges hold up to heat cycling. Factory O2 sensor locations are retained, so no extension harnesses or relocation work needed for emissions-side wiring.

Fitment

Designed for:

• Nissan 350Z (Z33) with VQ35HR engine (the late 350Z HR refresh, 2007-2008)
• Nissan 370Z (Z34) with VQ37VHR engine (entire 370Z production run)

Will NOT fit the earlier VQ35DE 350Z (2003-2006). for those, see IS-SSHD-VQ35SRT (separate variant for factory VQ35DE engines, also confirmed NOT for use with LS swaps). Will not fit Infiniti G35 with VQ35DE; verify your engine code before ordering. Clearance is built in for the USDM driver-side coolant tube / oil cooler line on later VQ37 engines, so no chassis modification needed.
