ISR Performance VQ35DE Swap Mounts for Nissan 240sx S13/14

The ISR Performance VQ35DE Swap Mounts are the engine and transmission mounting solution for installing a Nissan VQ35DE (RWD with 6-speed transmission) into the 1989-1998 Nissan 240SX (S13 and S14). One kit covers both chassis, designed as a complete one-stop solution for VQ swaps into the S-chassis platform.

What It Does

The VQ35DE doesn't fit between the S13/S14 frame rails or on the factory K-frame without dedicated swap mounts. This kit provides the engine and transmission mounts, base pedestals, transmission brace, and the weld-in transmission tunnel clearance kit required for a proper installation. Urethane bushings dampen engine vibration without being overly stiff, suitable for daily-driven and track-driven builds alike.

Critical Build Requirements

Transmission tunnel clearancing is required. The 350Z 6-speed transmission casing is larger than the factory S-chassis transmission and requires additional clearance to the firewall and the transmission tunnel where the crossmember mounts. Use the included weld-in transmission clearance kit for proper fitment.

Do not hammer the tunnel to create clearance. Hammering distorts the mounting holes and causes incorrect alignment. Welding in the included clearance kit is the correct approach.

Optional Shifter

ISR offers an optional CD shortened shifter assembly for an easier installation. Using the shortened shifter requires slight trimming of the rear section of the OEM shifter opening in the S13/S14 chassis. Shifter is sold separately.
