ISR Performance Clutch Line Mazda Miata - 99-02

The ISR Performance Clutch Line is a stainless steel braided replacement clutch line for the 1999-2002 Mazda Miata. Replaces the factory rubber clutch line, which softens and expands with age, robbing pedal feel and slowing engagement. Stainless braided lines deliver a firmer, more consistent clutch pedal and don't degrade with heat cycles or fluid contamination.

What It Does

Factory clutch lines are rubber. Rubber expands under hydraulic pressure when you push the clutch pedal, which means some of your pedal travel goes into stretching the line instead of actually disengaging the clutch. The result is a softer-feeling pedal and a less precise engagement point. Stainless steel braided lines have a Teflon or similar inner liner wrapped in stainless braid. they don't expand under pressure, so every bit of pedal travel goes directly to the clutch slave. Firmer feel, more predictable engagement, and the line doesn't break down with age or fluid heat.
