The ISR Performance One-Piece Driveshaft is built for LS swaps into the Nissan 350Z (Z33) that retain the factory 350Z 6-speed transmission (CD009) using the ISR Performance LS-to-CD009 bellhousing adapter. Built from steel with Dana/Spicer solid high-performance u-joints. This is the right driveshaft if you're keeping the factory Z6MT transmission instead of swapping in an F-body T56.

What It Does

One of the most popular ways to LS swap a 350Z is to keep the factory CD009 6-speed transmission bolted to the LS engine using an adapter plate. ISR Performance makes that adapter, and this driveshaft is built specifically for that combination. Length is calibrated to put the engine and transmission in the correct position on ISR's swap mounts while mating to the factory 350Z diff flange.

Retaining the factory transmission saves money over sourcing an F-body T56, keeps the OEM shifter location intact, and lets you reuse the factory clutch hydraulics with the adapter kit. The tradeoff is the CD009 is generally rated for less torque than a built T56, so it's better suited to street and mild-power builds than to high-horsepower drag setups.

Steel construction offers maximum durability and a lower price point compared to the aluminum version. The common choice for street-driven, mild-power, or grassroots LS swap builds where ultimate weight savings aren't the priority.

Critical Fitment Requirements

This driveshaft only fits LS swaps using the ISR Performance LS-to-CD009 bellhousing adapter. If you're running an F-body T56, you need the IS-DS-LS350-T56-S (steel) or IS-DS-LS350-T56-A (aluminum) driveshaft instead. Wrong shaft will not fit.
