ISR Performance Exhaust Y-Pipe for Nissan 350z / Infiniti G35

The ISR Performance Exhaust Y-Pipe is a high-performance Y-pipe for the Nissan 350Z (Z33) and Infiniti G35 RWD models. 2.5 inch stainless steel piping with bellowed flex sections feeding into a high-performance velocity merge, then stepping up to 3 inch piping at the rear flange. Features an integrated dimpled gusset plate tying the two runners together for added strength.

What It Does

The Y-pipe is the section of exhaust that merges the two banks of the VQ35DE V6 into a single pipe before the catback. The factory Y-pipe is a flow restriction and a known weight-saving opportunity. The ISR Y-pipe replaces it with mandrel-bent 2.5 inch stainless runners that feed a velocity merge before stepping up to 3 inch piping at the catback connection. The velocity merge geometry is designed to maintain exhaust pulse separation longer than a generic Y-pipe, which produces better tone and reduced back pressure.

Bellowed flex sections at the front absorb engine movement and thermal expansion. The integrated dimpled gusset plate stiffens the structure and prevents flex at the merge.

Pairs Well With

Designed to work with stock or aftermarket downpipes and any 350Z / G35 catback exhaust. Pairs particularly well with the ISR GT Single or EP Dual catback systems for a complete ISR exhaust path. Also bolts up to LS-swapped 350Z builds using ISR HGC LS swap headers (IS-SSHD-350LS), turning this Y-pipe into the LS-swap mid-pipe for a clean install path.

Critical Fitment

RWD ONLY. Will NOT fit on AWD G35X models. The AWD G35X has different exhaust routing and uses a different Y-pipe entirely. For G35X (and other 3.7L Nissan / Infiniti applications including 370Z, G37, and Q60 3.7L), use the IS-Z34-Y Y-pipe instead.
