The ISR Performance Front Mount Intercooler Kit is a complete bolt-on intercooler upgrade for the 2009-2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T (BK1 chassis). Bar-and-plate core sized to support approximately 400 horsepower, all-aluminum piping, and chassis-specific mounting that bolts up to the factory crash support with NO modifications required. One of the cleanest 2.0T intercooler installs available.

What It Does

The factory intercooler on the Genesis Coupe 2.0T is one of the most heat-soak-prone factory intercoolers on any modern turbo car. Even mild bolt-on builds will see intake temps climb fast, especially on warm days or under sustained load. This kit replaces it with a properly-sized bar-and-plate core mounted up front for direct airflow, sized to support upgraded turbo builds in the 400-horsepower range. The all-aluminum piping resists heat soak and looks significantly cleaner than the factory plastic.

The major install win: the kit is engineered to bolt up to the factory BK1 crash support without modification. No cutting, no welding, no permanent changes to the chassis. The crash support stays in place.

Critical Fitment for Automatic Models

Automatic Genesis Coupe 2.0T owners: the factory transmission cooler must be relocated or replaced with an aftermarket cooler to make room for the ISR intercooler core and piping. Manual cars don't have this issue. Plan for the relocation if you're on an automatic build.
