ISR Performance Front Tension Rods - Nissan 240sx 89-94

The ISR Performance Front Tension Rods for the 1989-1994 240SX are direct bolt-on replacements for the factory front tension rods with adjustable length for caster correction. Same arms run on the Enjuku Racing Formula Drift Pro cars, but priced for street and weekend track use rather than the higher-end Pro Series tier.

What It Does

Front tension rods locate the front lower control arm front-to-back and absorb braking and acceleration loads. Adjustable length lets you correct caster after lowering, change caster intentionally for steering feel, or restore factory geometry on a chassis that's been knocked around. The rod end gives you the durability for hard use without the deflection of OEM rubber bushings.

Street Series vs Pro Series

This is the Street Series tier of our front tension rods. If you want the upgraded Pro Series tier with Japanese spherical rod bearings, larger rod ends with dust boots, and thicker material with added bracing, see IS-FTC-NS13-PRO (or the offset/angled Pro variant IS-FTC-NS13-PRO-A for added wheel clearance at greater steering angles).
