The ISR Performance Inner Tie Rods are strengthened replacement inner tie rods for the Nissan 240SX, designed to add steering angle at full lock and improve durability over the factory units. Longer and thicker than the OEM tie rods, with an included rack spacer to extend the steering range.
What It Does
The factory 240SX inner tie rods limit steering wheel rotation, which caps the lock angle you can dial in even with an angle knuckle setup. The ISR inner tie rods are longer (10 9/16 inches vs OEM 10 1/4 inches) and thicker (0.550 inch vs OEM 0.475 inch), with an additional 1/4 inch slip-on rack spacer. The combined extra length plus spacer increases the steering rotation range, which translates to more usable lock for drift builds. The thicker cross section also handles the extra side loads from aggressive driving better than OEM.

S13 Owners: Outer Tie Rod Note
If you have an S13, you must pair these inner tie rods with S14 OEM or aftermarket outer tie rod ends. The ISR inner tie rods use the S14 thread spec on the outer end, so factory S13 outer ends will not thread on. S14 outer tie rod ends are inexpensive and widely available - plan to order them alongside this part if you're running an S13. S14 owners can use their factory outer tie rod ends directly.
