ISR Performance OE Replacement SR20DET O2 Sensor - Skinny

The ISR Performance OE Replacement SR20DET O2 Sensor is a 3-wire "skinny" plug-style oxygen sensor for the S13 Redtop SR20DET. Direct replacement for the factory O2 sensor that's almost always worn out on a JDM-imported or high-mileage SR20DET. A failing O2 sensor causes poor fuel economy, rough idle, and the SR20DET's notoriously rich tune to get even richer.

What It Does

The O2 sensor on the SR20DET tells the ECU how much oxygen is in the exhaust, which the ECU uses to trim the fuel mixture in closed-loop operation (cruising, idle, light throttle). A worn or dead sensor sends incorrect readings, the ECU mis-fuels, and the result is bad gas mileage, rough running, and a generally unhappy engine. Used SR20DETs almost always need a fresh O2 sensor as part of the swap or refresh. it's a wear item that doesn't last as long as the engine itself.

Critical Fitment. Skinny vs Fat

This is the SKINNY type sensor with a 3-wire plug, for the S13 SR20DET (Redtop).

The S14 SR20DET uses a FAT type sensor and is NOT compatible with this part. If you're not sure which type your engine has, look at the existing sensor on the car before ordering. Skinny vs Fat is the most common mistake on SR20DET O2 sensor purchases.
