The ISR Performance Rear Traction Rods are the Street Series adjustable rear traction rod set for the 1989-1998 Nissan 240SX (S13 and S14). Replaces the factory non-adjustable rear traction links with adjustable units that let you fine-tune rear hub fore-aft position, reducing bump steer and wheel hop on a lowered or competition-spec S-chassis.
What It Does
The factory rear traction link on the 240SX multi-link rear suspension is non-adjustable, which means rear hub fore-aft position is whatever the factory geometry put it at. On a lowered car, that geometry is no longer ideal, and the rear axle ends up with bump steer and wheel hop under hard launches or aggressive cornering. Adjustable traction rods let you correct hub position, dial in anti-squat behavior, and complete the rear alignment correction package alongside camber arms and toe rods.
This is the last piece in the 240SX rear multi-link adjustable arm family. Combined with adjustable upper control arms and toe rods, it gives full control over rear alignment geometry.
Pro Series Upgrade Path
This is the Street Series construction. For builds that need higher-end materials and serviceable bearings (Japanese spherical rod bearings with dust boots, thicker material, added bracing), the ISR Pro Series Rear Traction Rods (IS-RTR-NS134-PRO) cover the same fitment with the construction used on Patrick Goodin's 1000+hp Formula Drift S-Chassis.
