ISR Performance Stainless Rocker Arm Stoppers for Nissan SR20DET

The ISR Performance Stainless Rocker Arm Stoppers for the SR20DET physically prevent rocker arm float at high RPM, which is the failure mode that destroys valvetrains on hard-driven SR20DETs. Stainless construction means they won't chip or rust the way mild steel HKS or GReddy stoppers do under sustained abuse.

What It Does

The SR20DET's rocker arm geometry can let the rockers float (lift off their pivot point) at high RPM under heavy spring pressure or sustained load. When that happens, the rocker can become misaligned, hammer the valve tip, and in worst cases drop the rocker entirely. A rocker arm stopper sits over the rocker and physically prevents that float, keeping everything where it belongs.

The stainless construction is the meaningful upgrade here: mild steel HKS and GReddy stoppers chip at the contact surface and develop surface rust over time, both of which reduce their effectiveness. Stainless eliminates both failure modes.

Fitment

Designed for rear-wheel-drive Nissan SR20DET motors. Direct fit on S13 SR20DET. Will work on S14 and S15 SR20DET with slight modifications. you'll need to trim some material from underneath the valve cover near the oil cap area where it contacts the stopper. Plan for that work before install if you're running an S14/S15 motor.
