Our Miata NA 1.6 turbo kit, sold without the turbocharger so you can pick the T25 or T28 that fits your build and budget. One of the most complete bolt-on Miata turbo kits on the market without taking shortcuts on construction. Designed around compact GT-style turbochargers and built to handle real power.

What It Does

Provides everything you need to bolt forced induction onto a Miata NA 1.6 except the turbo itself, the BOV, the ECU, and the tune. The schedule 10 tubular bottom-mount manifold is built to resist the cracking that plagues thinner-wall cast manifolds. The 304 stainless exhaust components, chassis-specific intercooler and bracket, polished aluminum piping, and AN oil and water lines are all included. The hotpipe is modular and works with our HKS, GReddy, or Tial-pattern BOV flanges (sold separately), so you can run the BOV you already have.

Fitment

Fits the Mazda Miata NA 1.6 (1989-1993). Designed for compact T25 or T28 GT-style turbochargers (not included). Pairs cleanly with our IS-CSEXH-NA16 cat-back for a full exhaust system once the downpipe is in place.

Build Requirements (Sold Separately)

  • T25 or T28 GT-style turbocharger
  • Blow-off valve (works with HKS, GReddy, or Tial-pattern via ISR modular flange kits: IS-FLA-002 for HKS/GReddy, IS-FLA-006 for Tial)
  • Aftermarket standalone ECU with MAP sensor support
  • Fuel system upgrades sized for target power

Installation Notes

A 2.5" hole will need to be drilled for intercooler pipe routing. AN oil drain line with -10AN aluminum weld bung is included for welding to the factory oil pan.
