ISR Performance Wilwood Clutch Master Cylinder Adapter and Rod End for Genesis Coupe LSX Swap

The ISR Performance Wilwood Clutch Master Cylinder Adapter is the firewall-side adapter plate and rod end set needed to install a Wilwood clutch master cylinder in a Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Originally developed for the Genesis Coupe LSX engine swap, where the factory clutch master is undersized for an LS-spec clutch, but also usable on factory-engine Genesis Coupes upgrading to a Wilwood master.

What It Does

The factory Genesis Coupe clutch master cylinder is sized for the OEM clutch pressure plate. When you swap to an LS engine and matching transmission, the LS-spec pressure plate is significantly larger and heavier, and the factory Genesis master can't move enough fluid to fully release the clutch. The pedal goes to the floor, the disc never fully disengages, and shifting becomes a mess. Upgrading to a Wilwood master fixes the volume problem, but you need an adapter to mount the Wilwood master in the Genesis firewall.

This adapter plate and rod end set is the solution: bolts the Wilwood master (Wilwood part number 260-10372) to the Genesis Coupe firewall and provides the correct rod end geometry to interface with the Genesis clutch pedal.

When This Is Required

Required for any Genesis Coupe LSX swap. Running the factory clutch master with an LS pressure plate WILL cause clutch engagement problems. Plan to install a Wilwood master with this adapter as part of any LS swap build.

Also Usable for Factory-Engine Upgrades

You can use this adapter to upgrade to a Wilwood master cylinder on a factory-engine Genesis Coupe if you want a stiffer pedal feel and more linear engagement than the factory unit. Not necessary for stock setups, but a legitimate upgrade path.
